The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants is the world’s largest professional body of management accountants with the most useful accounting qualification for a career in business. The CIMA qualification is designed to bring together management accounting, financial accounting and business, so you’ll have the practical skills employers need, making you qualified to work in a wide range of roles. You may be eligible for exemption from up to 5 CIMA exams depending on modules taken (in addition to the basic papers BA1 – BA4).

This module provides you with the fundamental ideas and tools for thinking about where you can source finance, how you use the finance you have raised and how you return wealth to shareholders. The emphasis is on maximising shareholder wealth through proper resource management. You can choose a total of three option modules – two or three from the following list, and a third module may be chosen from anywhere within the University, subject to the course leader’s approval.
