We develop each course by designing modules that grow your abilities towards the learning outcomes and help you to explain what you can offer to employers. In Year 2 you’ll develop your understanding further, and explore some new areas of study. You’ll explore challenging questions and apply your learning to practical business problems. In Year 1, you’ll study core modules which introduce some of the key concepts and techniques used in business and management.

An understanding of the factors that contribute to effective team work combined with knowledge of the design and management of successful teams are crucial for managers and leaders.
This module is one of the options available to students during their business practice time. This module introduces the principles of Information Architecture , equipping students with the knowledge, skills and technologies required to design a typical information architecture solution that works using web technologies. Students will gain experience in designing and implementing prototype solution using server-side scripting languages and database servers. The module emphasises the understanding and interpretation of financial information.
Careers and Employability
No, you can only send one UCAS application in each year’s application cycle, but this can include applications for up to five courses. There is no time limit from when you start your application to when you send it, as long as you complete it within the deadlines set by UCAS and your school. We are still accepting applications for our courses for September 2022 and have vacancies. For all courses we also accept a wide range of other qualifications and experience. As a student, you will have be supported not just by those that teach you, but also by the wide range of staff who will be with you throughout your studies. The departments are the structures that govern the teaching of the degree courses.
Students who wish to undertake this program have the oppurtunity to broaden their knowledge in one of two elective courses. Each issue BMAJ publishes 6 quantitative research articles in the fields of business and management.
