How to apply

The Brunel Finance and Accounting BSc provides students with the knowledge, skills, and insights needed to successfully pursue careers in accountancy and other roles across the financial sector. If you decide that you would like to undertake a year-long placement, you can either apply to one of our ‘with Professional Placement Year’ programmes or transfer into one at any time up until the end of your second year of study. The placement is undertaken in the third year of a four-year degree programme.

FINANCE ACCOUNTING

In the first two years you’ll explore core subjects such as financial markets, financial accounting and reporting, management accounting and corporate finance and investment. This module aims to provide you with an opportunity to apply and develop your research skills by extending your knowledge, understanding and powers of critical analysis within a specialist domain. You will chose an academic area related to your programme of study and apply your independent learning skills to research this area in depth. You will receive academic support through a series of group supervisions and will be allocated a project supervisor.
